Privacy Policy and Terms of Service
How TrustEmporium handles information, defines responsible use, and sets the terms that apply to businesses, customers, website visitors, connected software, and authorized representatives.
Effective date: July 27, 2026 •
Operated by TE Systems LLC, Wyoming, United States.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to TrustEmporium websites, services, interfaces, integrations, registry functions, account functions, verification functions, badges, application programming interfaces, and related communications operated by TE Systems LLC.
TrustEmporium provides neutral infrastructure for preserving and retrieving structured operational interaction history. It is not a public review platform, public blacklist, social network, credit bureau, popularity system, or public reputation-ranking service.
Participating businesses remain responsible for their own records, customer relationships, operational decisions, and compliance obligations. TrustEmporium provides the infrastructure through which authorized information may be stored, referenced, verified, or retrieved.
2. Information We May Process
The information processed through TrustEmporium depends on how the service is used and which features have been enabled.
Business and account information
This may include:
- Business name and public business information.
- Authorized representative names and contact details.
- Account identifiers and authentication information.
- Business website, domain, location, and service information.
- Subscription, registration, eligibility, and account status.
- Support, legal, security, and administrative communications.
Customer or interaction information
Where a participating business uses TrustEmporium to record or request operational context, information may include:
- Names or other identifying information supplied by the business.
- Email addresses or telephone numbers where required for matching or communication.
- Booking, rental, charter, lesson, tour, deposit, attendance, or service references.
- Dates and categories of relevant interactions.
- Structured factual records created by a participating business.
- Verification information connected to an interaction.
- Corrections, disputes, responses, or supporting context.
- Optional positive-history or badge eligibility information.
TrustEmporium is designed for structured operational records rather than public comments, popularity scores, star ratings, or unrestricted opinion-based content.
Technical, installation, heartbeat, and integrity information
When compatible software is connected to TrustEmporium or another TE Systems service, technical information may be transmitted to register the installation, maintain the connection, show product status, provide support, or verify software integrity.
This information may include:
- Website URL or domain.
- Business or installation identifier.
- Product slug and installed product version.
- Installed compatible TE Systems product or module inventory.
- WordPress and PHP version information.
- Heartbeat date, connection state, and connection errors.
- Package, manifest, authenticity, or integrity information.
- License, entitlement, registration, or support status where applicable.
- Basic server or environment information required for diagnostics.
A software heartbeat is used to communicate installation identity, version information, connection health, and integrity-related status. A heartbeat is not intended to transmit booking records, participant documents, payment details, or complete customer databases unless a separate feature clearly requires and discloses such transmission.
Integrity validation is used to determine whether an installed software package corresponds to a known release. Integrity, authenticity, version status, support status, and connection freshness are separate statuses. For example, an older authentic version is not automatically treated as modified, and an interrupted connection is not automatically treated as an integrity failure.
Website and usage information
This may include:
- Internet Protocol address.
- Browser and device information.
- Requested pages and approximate request time.
- Referring page or website.
- Security, fraud-prevention, and error-log information.
- Cookie or session information necessary to operate the website.
Information submitted through forms
When a person submits a contact, support, legal, accountability, correction, or data inquiry, TrustEmporium may process the information entered into that form together with technical information needed to verify, secure, route, and respond to the request.
3. How Information Is Obtained
Information may be obtained:
- Directly from a website visitor, customer, or business.
- From an authorized participating business.
- From connected TE Systems software or services.
- From another person acting with appropriate authority.
- Automatically through normal website and service operation.

- From records created during support, verification, or dispute handling.
4. Purposes of Processing
Information may be processed to:
- Create, maintain, secure, and administer accounts.
- Provide the TrustEmporium registry and related services.
- Preserve structured operational interaction history.
- Respond to an intentional request for relevant context.
- Match records to the appropriate business, account, installation, or interaction.
- Verify records, identities, installations, or software packages.
- Provide optional positive-history or badge functions.
- Maintain software heartbeat, connection, authenticity, and integrity functions.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, manipulation, or security incidents.
- Investigate disputes, corrections, complaints, or legal inquiries.
- Provide customer service and technical support.
- Maintain internal audit and accountability records.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, contractual, or security obligations.

5. Legal and Operational Bases
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, information may be processed because:
- Processing is necessary to provide a requested service.
- Processing is necessary to perform or administer a contract.
- The person has provided consent.
- A participating business has a legitimate operational need to maintain accurate records.
- TE Systems LLC has a legitimate interest in operating, securing, supporting, and improving the service.

- Processing is necessary to protect the security, rights, or property of affected persons or organizations.
A participating business is responsible for determining whether it has a lawful basis to submit information to TrustEmporium and for providing any notices or obtaining any permissions required in its jurisdiction.
6. Participating Business Responsibility
Records submitted by a participating business remain the responsibility of that business. The originating business is responsible for:
- The accuracy and relevance of the information it submits.
- Using the service only for legitimate operational purposes.
- Avoiding discriminatory, unlawful, misleading, abusive, or retaliatory use.
- Responding appropriately to questions about its own records.
- Correcting records that it determines are materially inaccurate.
- Complying with applicable privacy, consumer, employment, anti-discrimination, and recordkeeping laws.
- Making its own independent decisions.
TrustEmporium does not make booking, acceptance, employment, rental, service, access, pricing, deposit, cancellation, or eligibility decisions for participating businesses.
7. No Public Ranking or Automated Judgment
TrustEmporium does not publish public star ratings, popularity rankings, open customer profiles, or public comment feeds.
TrustEmporium does not assign fault, determine truth in private disputes, guarantee outcomes, or automatically instruct a participating business to accept or reject a person.
Any information made available through the service is context only. The participating business remains responsible for interpretation, verification, proportionality, and its final decision.
8. Disclosure of Information
Information may be disclosed:
- To the participating business that created or controls the relevant record.
- To an authorized business deliberately requesting relevant operational context.
- To the person to whom information relates, where appropriate and legally required.
- To service providers that host, secure, process, support, or transmit information for TrustEmporium.
- To payment, communications, identity, security, or infrastructure providers where required.
- To professional advisers, auditors, insurers, or legal representatives.
- To a regulator, court, law-enforcement agency, or government authority where legally required.
- In connection with a business restructuring, merger, sale, financing, or transfer, subject to appropriate safeguards.
- Where necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, security threats, or violations of these Terms.
TrustEmporium does not sell personal information as a public marketing database and does not make interaction histories available for unrestricted public browsing.
9. Service Providers and External Services
TrustEmporium may use third-party providers for hosting, content delivery, security, email, identity verification, payment processing, communications, backups, analytics, error monitoring, and technical operations.
These providers may process only the information reasonably necessary to perform their function. Their own terms and privacy policies may also apply when a user directly interacts with their services.
10. International Processing
TrustEmporium may be accessed internationally. Information may be processed or stored in the United States or other countries in which TE Systems LLC or its infrastructure providers operate.
Where required, reasonable contractual, organizational, and technical measures are used to support lawful international processing.
11. Retention
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including:
- Providing and maintaining the service.
- Preserving legitimate operational history.
- Maintaining security, integrity, and audit records.
- Resolving disputes or correction requests.
- Complying with contractual, accounting, tax, regulatory, or legal obligations.
- Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims.
Retention periods may vary according to record type, the originating business, contractual requirements, legal obligations, and the status of an account or dispute.
12. Security
TE Systems LLC uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
These measures may include access controls, authentication, encrypted transmission, logging, integrity validation, backups, monitoring, rate limits, and restricted administrative access.
No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security. Users and participating businesses are responsible for protecting their own credentials, devices, systems, and authorized-user access.
13. Cookies and Similar Technologies
TrustEmporium may use cookies, local storage, session identifiers, or similar technologies that are necessary for:
- Authentication and account sessions.
- Security and fraud prevention.
- Form operation and request verification.
- Remembering user choices.
- Service reliability and diagnostics.

Browser settings may allow users to control certain cookies. Disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the service from functioning.

Depending on applicable law, a person may have rights to request:
- Confirmation of whether information is being processed.
- Access to information relating to that person.
- Correction of inaccurate information.
- Deletion where legally applicable.

- Objection to certain processing.
- A portable copy of certain information.
- Withdrawal of consent where processing depends on consent.
- Review of a record or response connected to an interaction.
- Information about the source and use of relevant data.
Because participating businesses remain responsible for records they create, some requests may need to be handled by or coordinated with the originating business.
TrustEmporium may request reasonable verification before disclosing, changing, or deleting information. Certain information may be retained where required by law, necessary for security, needed to preserve an accurate audit record, or required to establish or defend legal claims.
15. Children
TrustEmporium is intended for use by businesses and adults with legal authority to enter into relevant transactions. It is not directed to children for independent use.
A participating business that submits information involving a minor is responsible for ensuring that the submission is lawful, necessary, and appropriately protected.
16. Disconnection of Integrated Software
Where an administrator disconnects compatible software from the TrustEmporium or TE Systems ecosystem:
- Recurring connection or heartbeat communications should stop according to the software’s documented behavior.
- Local software functionality should remain available unless a function inherently requires a remote service.
- Previously displayed connection or product information may become stale.
- Remote registry, integrity, support, or account functions may become unavailable.
- The administrator may reconnect through the available connection process.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes in the service, law, security practices, or business operations.
The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or another reasonable channel.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using TrustEmporium, creating an account, connecting compatible software, submitting information, requesting records, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service.
If you use TrustEmporium on behalf of a business or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.
Do not use the service if you do not agree to these Terms.
2. Description of the Service
TrustEmporium provides a structured, private reference layer through which participating businesses may preserve and intentionally retrieve relevant operational interaction context.
The service may include:
- Business registration and account functions.
- Structured interaction records.
- Intentional context requests and responses.
- Verification and audit functions.
- Optional positive-history or badge functions.
- Software connection, heartbeat, registration, support, and integrity services.
- Administrative, correction, accountability, and legal-request functions.
TrustEmporium provides infrastructure and context. It does not replace a participating business’s own investigation, policies, judgment, legal obligations, or decision-making.
3. Eligibility
Users must be legally capable of accepting these Terms. Business users must have authority to act for the business they register or represent.
TE Systems LLC may require reasonable verification of identity, authority, business status, domain ownership, installation ownership, or other relevant facts.
4. Account Responsibilities
Users and participating businesses must:
- Provide accurate and current registration information.
- Protect account credentials and authentication methods.
- Limit access to authorized personnel.
- Promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
- Keep contact and business information current.
- Use the service only for lawful and legitimate business purposes.
- Maintain their own records and backups where appropriate.
A business is responsible for activity occurring through its account, authorized users, connected software, and credentials, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
5. Record Standards
A participating business submitting an interaction record must make a reasonable effort to ensure that the record:
- Relates to a genuine interaction.
- Is factually framed.
- Is relevant to a legitimate operational purpose.
- Does not intentionally misrepresent material facts.
- Does not contain unnecessary sensitive information.
- Is not submitted for retaliation, harassment, coercion, or discrimination.
- Complies with applicable law and the business’s own obligations.
Businesses must not use TrustEmporium to publish rumors, personal attacks, unrelated allegations, or content they know to be materially false.
6. Independent Business Decisions
Each participating business independently determines:
- Whether to request available context.
- Whether additional verification is necessary.
- How much weight, if any, to give a record.
- Whether a record is relevant to a current transaction.
- What lawful action, if any, to take.
TrustEmporium does not instruct a business to accept, reject, cancel, charge, refund, employ, dismiss, rent to, refuse, penalize, or otherwise treat a person in a particular way.
7. Prohibited Uses
Users must not:
- Use the service unlawfully or fraudulently.
- Submit information they are not authorized to submit.
- Knowingly submit materially false, deceptive, or fabricated records.
- Use the service to harass, threaten, shame, stalk, or retaliate against another person.
- Use the service for unlawful discrimination.
- Attempt to create a public blacklist, public ranking, or public exposure system using TrustEmporium data.
- Scrape, harvest, enumerate, or systematically extract records.
- Attempt to identify records outside a legitimate operational context.
- Share credentials or provide unauthorized account access.
- Bypass access controls, rate limits, verification, logging, or security mechanisms.
- Probe, scan, attack, overload, disrupt, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service.
- Upload malware or malicious code.
- Use another business’s identity, installation, or credentials without authority.
- Resell, sublicense, mirror, or commercially exploit the service without authorization.
- Use TrustEmporium information as the sole basis for a legally significant decision where applicable law requires additional safeguards.
8. Corrections, Questions, and Disputes
TrustEmporium does not act as a court, arbitrator, public review platform, or general dispute-resolution service.
Questions concerning the substance of a record may be referred to the participating business that created it. TrustEmporium may facilitate a correction or accountability process, preserve an audit trail, request supporting information, restrict access during review, or take other reasonable steps.
TE Systems LLC may correct system-level errors but does not guarantee that it can independently determine the truth of every underlying interaction.
9. Optional Badges and Positive History
Where available, an optional badge or positive-history indication may show that specified verification criteria have been met.
A badge is not an identity guarantee, credit rating, certification of future conduct, warranty, or instruction to complete a transaction. Each business remains responsible for its own verification and decision.
10. Connected Software and External Services
TrustEmporium may interoperate with software, websites, payment processors, communication providers, identity services, hosting providers, or other external services.
Use of an external service may also be governed by that provider’s terms and privacy policy. TE Systems LLC is not responsible for an external provider’s independent acts, availability, or policies.
Connected software may transmit registration, product, version, connection, heartbeat, support, entitlement, authenticity, or integrity information as described in the software and applicable privacy disclosures.
11. Fees and Paid Services
Some TrustEmporium functions may be free, included with another service, offered as a paid service, or governed by a separate agreement.
Any applicable price, billing period, renewal condition, cancellation term, and included service should be disclosed before purchase or in the applicable order or agreement.
Failure to pay for a paid remote service may result in suspension of that remote service. It does not authorize TE Systems LLC to disable unrelated locally installed software functions that are not dependent on the remote service.
12. Intellectual Property
TrustEmporium’s service name, branding, website, documentation, interfaces, proprietary databases, service architecture, and non-open service components are owned by or licensed to TE Systems LLC and are protected by applicable law.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of TrustEmporium intellectual property to the user.
Software distributed under an open-source license remains governed by its applicable license. Nothing in these Terms removes rights granted under that open-source license.
A participating business retains responsibility for and any rights it holds in information it submits, subject to the permissions reasonably required for TE Systems LLC to host, secure, process, display, verify, and provide the service.
13. Availability and Changes
TE Systems LLC may maintain, modify, improve, replace, suspend, or discontinue portions of the service.
The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, security events, provider outages, network failure, legal requirements, or circumstances outside reasonable control.
TE Systems LLC does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
14. Suspension and Termination
TE Systems LLC may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of:
- A material violation of these Terms.
- Fraud, abuse, harassment, or unlawful activity.
- A security risk or compromised account.
- Unauthorized access, scraping, or interference.
- A legal or regulatory requirement.
- Materially false registration or record information.
- Nonpayment for an applicable paid service.
- Conduct that threatens the service, its users, or affected persons.
Where reasonably possible, notice and an opportunity to correct the issue may be provided. Immediate action may be taken where necessary to protect security, comply with law, or prevent harm.
Users may stop using the service and may request account closure, subject to legitimate retention, security, audit, and legal obligations.
15. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TrustEmporium is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis.
TE Systems LLC does not warrant that:
- Every record is complete, current, or free from error.

- The service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
- The service is suitable for every legal, regulatory, or operational purpose.
TrustEmporium provides context, not legal advice, credit advice, employment advice, insurance advice, or a guaranteed decision-making result.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TE Systems LLC and its owners, personnel, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, business opportunity, or anticipated savings arising from use of or inability to use TrustEmporium.
TE Systems LLC is not responsible for an independent decision made by a participating business, a record submitted by a participating business, or the conduct of a user or third party.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
17. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, a business or organizational user agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TE Systems LLC and its personnel from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from:

18. Compliance With Law
Users and participating businesses must comply with all laws applicable to their use of TrustEmporium, including applicable privacy, data-protection, consumer-protection, anti-discrimination, recordkeeping, communications, employment, rental, and contractual requirements.
TrustEmporium must not be used in a manner that unlawfully denies a person rights, services, opportunities, or equal treatment.
19. Governing Rules and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to TE Systems LLC and the relevant service relationship, without removing any mandatory consumer, privacy, or statutory rights that apply to a user.
Before starting formal proceedings, the parties should make a reasonable effort to resolve the issue through a written legal or accountability inquiry, unless urgent relief or applicable law requires otherwise.
20. Changes to These Terms
TE Systems LLC may update these Terms to reflect changes in the service, law, security practices, or business operations.
The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by applicable law.
21. Severability and No Waiver
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
A failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.
22. Entire Agreement
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any applicable order, subscription, service agreement, or supplemental terms form the agreement governing use of TrustEmporium.
